JK2006 A You Tuber says he prefers Slim Whitman's later version; I've pointed him at my treatment of Slim's Rose Marie (for decades the longest ever No1 hit on the charts; July to October 1955)... about 15 minutes in to The Pink Marble Egg.

Candid Capra The silence at the start is a mistake. It draws attention to the crap camerawork and editing. Better to have gone the whole hog and put in the sound of a videocam whirring away to imply it's a parody of home videos.
