JK2006 Yes fascinating MCR; glad to see I get the odd mention - I genuinely started that "pseudonym" game, simply because I felt I was making so many hits and knew radio would only play one at a time with the same name on the label; so Weathermen, Shag, Piglets, Nemo, Sakkarin and others were born.
Tony B was on several of our UK Records hits (Beach Baby) and sang backup on many of mine - as did Guy Fletcher (now a very important publishing executive).

I remember having a huge row with Top of the Pops over the photos used in the chart rundowns; I didn't want to put up fake band photos and didn't want my own face again and again, so gave them photos of my car and caricatures instead.
