Ignoring the typos (as I do), I largely accept what you're saying.
But would simply make the point that - without torture - Osama bin Laden would still be alive.
The movie Zero Dark Thirty (really a documentary) gave a graphic depiction of the torture techniques which led - with a large amount of luck and advanced satellite/surveilance capabilities - to his capture and elimination.
Was this torture acceptable for the greater good? Did it stop more 9/11's?
I, like many, simply do not know.

Palestinians have been tortured ever since they were 'ethnically cleansed' from their lands.
In my view it just creates more hatred,more martyrs.I've lived in Muslim lands,Guantanamo etc make things worse,not better.If American money sponsors state terrorism then they are creating their own problems.Obama saw this,but failed to put into practice his own thoughts,too scared of the Jewish lobby.
