this 'extended' bail business is really quite shocking when they haven't been charged. put up or shut up is correct. they should also be able to sue for defamation and the destruction of careers. As I've said before, the police should bring a charge as soon as they have sufficient evidence .... this shows they have no evidence (which would stand the test of a Jury) and are just "casting the net".
