The new Dr Who is... 11 Years, 11 Months ago
of very little importance. The necessity is to bring back Russell T Davies who revived the franchise.

The favourite to take the lead is Aneurin Barnard. I had to google him. He looks the part but I've never seen him act.

Doctor Who needs new good writers. How about Anthony Horowitz?

It needs The Master back. I think another Anthony - Hopkins - would be ideal

No more pointless lengthy and boring story lines. No more putting the assistants before The Doctor. No more making The Doctor to seem like a idiot.

For starters ....

And no female Doctor!!!!

As far as yahoo is concerned Peter Capaldi is a dead cert, and ladbrokes have suspended betting on him.

Personally I think the show should be on CBBC, as I regard it as a children's show.

Zoe Ball should know that 12 actors have played The Doctor on TV, not counting the new guy.

bad research.

Capaldi gets it which means they will allow the quirky side to dominate (my least favourite aspect of the character).

An older Doctor is a good thing as they could use it as a chance to inject the seriousness back into the role as in the Jon Pertwee era.
