It is hard to disagree with the economics.
- a regular ITK response now
- meaningless, patronising, insulting and stupid

A growing proportion of the public believe David Cameron and George Osborne are more capable of managing the economy than their Labour rivals, according to the latest ICM poll for the Guardian.
The proportion of people prepared to back the Tory team for economic competence has soared to 40% from 28% in June. The findings will make grim post-holiday reading for the Labour leader, Ed Miliband, who along with shadow chancellor Ed Balls has seen a much smaller rise in credibility, with 24% of the public preferring them compared with 19% two months ago.

To be fair, most people in Labour’s ranks are now grudgingly starting to acknowledge that fact, which is a positive. As with alcoholism, the first important step to being a supporter of Ed Miliband’s Labour party is to recognise that you’ve got a problem.
Silliband's poll rating SLUMPS AGAIN !
Ed Miliband was rocked on the eve of the crucial party conference season today by an exclusive poll showing Labour’s lead crashing to just three points.
Ipsos MORI’s dramatic research reveals Labour has slipped three points from 40 per cent to 37 per cent since August, while David Cameron’s Conservatives are up four to 34 per cent.
For the first time since he became leader, over half of Labour supporters (52 per cent) are dissatisfied with the way he is doing his job, compared with 40 per cent who are satisfied.
The split compares badly with the Prime Minister’s solid rating among Conservative supporters of 71 per cent satisfied to 23 per cent dissatisfied.
It the worst rating for any Opposition leader by their own supporters since autumn 2003 when Iain Duncan Smith was ousted by the Tories as their leader.
