Ed Miliband has been pelted with eggs on his first public appearance in weeks as he attempted to reboot the Labour party.
The Labour leader was campaigning in London when a volley of eggs was thrown at his back.
At least one hit the politician on the head and jacket as he visited East Street market in Walworth, south London.

As it was a south London street market he must have been trying to "re-connect" with his core voters LOL !

Was he wearing a 'shell suit'?
He'll be 'all white' on the night?
This is 'no yolk'

ITK, Pattaya and the Daily Mail..all frothing at the mouth because a 'poll' re-inforces their view.
that particular Ipsos MORI poll : " 1,007 adults aged 18+ across Great Britain."
Population UK : 63,000,000 plus
Interestingly these 'polls' are being used by the Murdoch 'media' to boost the Tories in Australia yet they are similarly conducted via landlines usually on a Sat evening thus missing the vast majority of those under 40 who only have mobile phones.

Whoever is pulling his strings isn't doing a good job either
The ComRes poll for The Independent on Sunday and Sunday Mirror showed just 22% thought Mr Miliband was doing a good job compared to 50% who did not.
It gave him an overall personal approval rating of minus 28 - a 17 point fall since May - representing his worst showing in a ComRes poll .
