9/11 - the day my trial started 11 Years, 10 Months ago
In 2001 - I said to my barrister "how on earth can jurors concentrate on silly things like whether or not I had sex 30 years ago when airplanes are crashing into the Twin Towers?".

He laughed and said "British Justice is not affected by minor global events".

I knew then I'd entered Wonderland.

He know it was a conspiracy by saying it was minor.

No Andrew; sadly he just felt British jurors (and Judges) would not be concerned by anything outside London, let alone Great Britain.

But look at how opinion has changed in a year? Only yesterday Nigel Pivaro was on tv saying that the accused are only named publicly to fish for nutters to prop up the case, and most people seem to be in favour of anonymity for all.
Maybe next year the whole farce will have been exposed.
