I love Pam's poems; they make me giggle - but for sheer poetry I reckon great lyric writers are way up there; Smokey Robinson, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Hal David and just check out the words of Bob Dylan's Chimes of Freedom if you want real poetry. Some of them are good but I just can't stand the way she delivers them. And you forgot Paul Simon!
