Australia seems to catch fire every summer (down under).

I live in Potts Point next to Kings Cross but the smoke blocks out the sun.

think it's why I have a headache today.

wretched headache for 2 days now..must be the smoke..or the thought of ITK coming back from hols.

Not a great fan of Gum Trees (or Eucalyptus) and was a bit surprised to see them growing in Morocco after Oz donated thousands to them...they aren't very attractive and are full of oil..they burst into flames.

I watched a bush fire about 5 years ago...amazing..the fire leaps from ( Gum) tree to tree and they explode like a hand grenade.. poor Koalas don't have a chance

Paracetamol and sparkling water usually works for me Hedda. I do feel sorry for the little Koalas. Just seen a sad baby on the news; looked like a toy. Made me cry.
