Maddie is still missing
Diana has still been murdered
Silliband still talks tripe
Syrians are STILL being slaughtered
Assad is STILL getting away with the biggest crimes of the century.

At least innocent Syrians are not YET being slaughtered by our troops using our tax monies, unlike those poor innocent Libyans!

... but they ARE being slaughtered !

Do you think they care who they are being slaughtered by?

(Maybe they will remember WHEN they win and recall - just as the Iranians did - who propped-up their oppressors ?)

Ah ITK - you reveal your true position; you don't care how many Syrians or which Syrians get slaughtered as long as it's NOT the supporters of the rebel side, and you don't care about innocent Syrians being killed by our troops.

So if we bomb Syria to get the Asad regime out (killing a few thousand innocents), you approve because (like Gaddafi supporters in Libya) they are stopping the Asad regime slaughtering other innocent Syrians.

And, like in Iran, the new Syrian regime can be nice and kind to their citizens (as long as they are not gay).

Naive? As you were about Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Iraq...

Be honest ITK; you just approve of our leaders using our tax monies to kill foreigners. That's all that matters to you.

NO - what matters to me is that we HELP desperate people when they ask for assistance.

If we had helped the Iranians when they were trying to topple the Shah (instead of propping him up !!!) - we would not now be such aliens to them.

Similarly in Syria (check my previous posts !) I said MANY times that if we don't help them someone else will - now you complain that they have turned to the extremists because we refused help !

God help us all !

You refer to Syrians as though they all disagree with Asad. You talk about Iranians as though they all share the same attitude. You speak about extremists as though they just popped up to assist people in time of trouble and were not there before. You really do have a blinkered approach, ITK.

Only a fool would think otherwise ... these people (who started as a peaceful protest movement - but were attacked by their supposed "government") have managed to stave-off an entire army and airforce !

Held them at bay for 2 years - despite backing from Iran and Russia.

They have withstood being gassed !

They are fighting for survival - and their oppressor is no different from Hitler / Idi Amin / Pol Pot or any of the other dictators who would kill their own people in a desperate attempt to hang on to power.

They ARE going to win - because when you have nothing to fight for except survival you HAVE to win.

(I think they are getting out of sync - I thought it was (yet another) shopping mall shooting next ?)

Well ITK, Fool here; I genuinely believe there may be a dozen, or a hundred or a thousand or even several million who support the Asad regime - you don't; readers must decide who is the Fool. I'll give you this - if nobody at all supports Asad, then there might be a case to support the total 100% of the rebel population of Syria.

Well, it's NOT the million or so already dead or injured is it?

... or the two million who have already fled the country?

... maybe it's the four million internally displaced?

The rebels obviously have HUGE support (not just fighters, but also logistics - supplying food, hiding arms, weapons etc) - how else could they keep an entire army and airforce at bay for two years ????
