Hope he is a free man.
I've always believed that the greatest radio DJ this country has ever produced was Kenny Everett. And he really wasn't a DJ, he was a radio performer, talent, broadcaster, whatever. The records were just to fill in time between Cuddly Ken.
Everyone else has just been a pretender.

Because they are more than heavy enough to start with, and we are not allowed to carry offensive weapons.
It is unlikely that your girlfriend would be able to convince the police that she is carrying it just in case she gets the urge to do a spot of bricklaying.
Mas-sacra, Parker pen, screwdriver, keys and credit cards can be used used as a weapon, and people carry these daily on them. Police do fuck all where we live, we know most of them.

I may be TOTALLY wrong but I just can't believe DLT was anything other than a 'typical D.J' (a bit full of himself and not adverse to chatting up birds) sort. Some of the other people accused my gut feeling tells me I'm not surprised but DLT - 'The Hairy Cornflake' - Nah. I wonder now since the Jimmy Saville think blew up (sadly, rightly so in my opinion though) whether we will ever now be able to return to a time when men were not all peados, lechers, perverts or 'creepy'. The policy of guilty unless proven innocent seems to have overtaken us all these days and while I am the first to admit that kids must be protected from such people do ALL men have to now stop and think about how any sexual approach to a woman may be interpreted? I've said it before but I'll say it again - MEN are attracted to WOMEN no law is going to change that!
As a sideline I saw a bus the other day with the slogan 'Some people are Gay - get used to it' all down one side on a poster. How is it that it is now fine and dandy to promote equality (nothing wrong with that I hasten to add!) by using 'potentially offensive slogans' when it comes to gay people and yet anything to do with hetro-sexual activity seems to be classed as 'dodgy'!
NOT having a go at Gay people here - let me make that 100% clear but how would people feel if a bus had the slogan 'Blokes want to shag women - get over it' went down the street?
Any thoughts (civil please!)?

Why would I want to tap her on the shoulder ?
You might surprise her by going to meet her off the bus in the dark or something. If its cold steer clear of balaclavas!
A friend returned home late at night from a trip away to find that his wife had taken the dog out.
As he saw them approaching, decided to surprise her by leaping out of the back door wearing nothing but a top hat and waders.
It was a total stranger.
His wife had been called away urgently and left her friend in charge of the dog.
