BBC - DLT faces charges about "alleged female victims"... 11 Years, 8 Months ago
As the BBC collapses into total illiteracy and inaccuracy I'm wondering whether these "alleged females" will have to expose their organs in the witness box. Oh, isn't Britain Great these days?

He's pleaded NOT GUILTY - probably advised to plead Guilty by his lawyers, he may have intelligently answered "but then, when Judges give me a lenient sentence, as guide lined by Parliament statute, I'll be dragged back on appeal by the Attorney General and have my sentence doubled because of tabloid complaint".

Species barmy.

Not for Punch & Judy JK?

Stuck in the mud, mindset of Punch & Judy Bonkers Britain, and Grim Greater Phoney Anglophonia Punch & Judy bent US/CA/OZ/NZ/SA/IE. All breeding and then exploiting dysfunction, divison, disorder et al.

Punch & Judy JK STILL won't see that Punch & Judy bent Politics/Justice/Cops/Media is in the bent DNA of sub-species phoney Anglophonia/Homo Ignoramus.

NOT in the greater 'Species' 400-million modern mainland Europe, NON-Anglo/Homo Sapiens. Increasingly mocking the MAD DOGS Anglo/Homo Ignoramus.

Most of these contributions get automatically dumped but this one deserved getting carried to illustrate why they are never put up. I find you totally incomprehensible Homo. As do most of our visitors. So, nothing personal. Nothing against the content. Just we won't put up posts in Unwinese.

Chatted to DLT once many years ago in the old Tower Records at Piccadilly Circus. A knowledgable bloke who was perusing imported CD racks.

I came away thinking he seemed wasted doing the show he did on Radio 1 all those years as he suited something more specialist.

Because they are more than heavy enough to start with, and we are not allowed to carry offensive weapons.
It is unlikely that your girlfriend would be able to convince the police that she is carrying it just in case she gets the urge to do a spot of bricklaying.

I've always believed that the greatest radio DJ this country has ever produced was Kenny Everett. And he really wasn't a DJ, he was a radio performer, talent, broadcaster, whatever. The records were just to fill in time between Cuddly Ken.

Everyone else has just been a pretender.

Mas-sacra, Parker pen, screwdriver, keys and credit cards can be used used as a weapon, and people carry these daily on them. Police do fuck all where we live, we know most of them.

I may be TOTALLY wrong but I just can't believe DLT was anything other than a 'typical D.J' (a bit full of himself and not adverse to chatting up birds) sort. Some of the other people accused my gut feeling tells me I'm not surprised but DLT - 'The Hairy Cornflake' - Nah. I wonder now since the Jimmy Saville think blew up (sadly, rightly so in my opinion though) whether we will ever now be able to return to a time when men were not all peados, lechers, perverts or 'creepy'. The policy of guilty unless proven innocent seems to have overtaken us all these days and while I am the first to admit that kids must be protected from such people do ALL men have to now stop and think about how any sexual approach to a woman may be interpreted? I've said it before but I'll say it again - MEN are attracted to WOMEN no law is going to change that!

As a sideline I saw a bus the other day with the slogan 'Some people are Gay - get used to it' all down one side on a poster. How is it that it is now fine and dandy to promote equality (nothing wrong with that I hasten to add!) by using 'potentially offensive slogans' when it comes to gay people and yet anything to do with hetro-sexual activity seems to be classed as 'dodgy'!

NOT having a go at Gay people here - let me make that 100% clear but how would people feel if a bus had the slogan 'Blokes want to shag women - get over it' went down the street?

Any thoughts (civil please!)?

If the slogan was changed to "SOME blokes want to sh*g women" that would be fine.

Seriously, isn't that a crime in itself?

I can't speak for anyone else, i'd see carrying a brick or any other dangerous weapon in my hand bag as totally unnessicery as i've barely been in a situation where using that level of violence would be justified...

Andrew would be unwise to surprise her on the street. He could tap her on the shoulder and BOOM! his head's gone.

You might surprise her by going to meet her off the bus in the dark or something. If its cold steer clear of balaclavas!

A friend returned home late at night from a trip away to find that his wife had taken the dog out.
As he saw them approaching, decided to surprise her by leaping out of the back door wearing nothing but a top hat and waders.
It was a total stranger.
His wife had been called away urgently and left her friend in charge of the dog.
