TOPIC: Trolls online

Trolls online 11 Years, 8 Months ago
Reading about the Trolls trying to hurt the BakeOff finalists; the internet has done us all a great favour revealing the tiny, nasty segment of our community. Built with the same DNA as False Accusers, those sour and vicious little midges who come out of the woodwork to snipe and sneer have always been around. They were the village gossips and the witch finders of centuries past.

Always, without fail, the mentally disabled themselves, though never able to see it in the mirror, they are universally also really stupid; most simply don't realise they are logged and finger printed, exposing themselves like sad verbal flashers in front of CCTV cameras.

Victims are usually women or children (more vulnerable). Bullies, trolls, haters - call them what you like, they really don't even warrant being noticed (which is why many of us use filters and blocks).

Incidentally, check out the dear old Grauniad spelling of Ruby's surname in the link ...

Don't these people ever pause to think "why am I doing this?"?

Yes I get puzzled - don't they expect karma to arrive eventually?

The problem is, Toby, they think karma is an "outside" thing; if they realised you make your own karma, they would never bully/troll/hate.
