Never got in the sport but tried my hardest, it's too slow with stoppages and with constant ad breaks. But would not mind watching at Wembley Stadium if the price was right.
I was hoping for play-by-play chat on phone with Bean (which we do on Superbowls) in New York but he's watching Chelsea vs Man U! Modern communications.
I think it's my Dad's genes; my only real sports are baseball and American Football; I can watch others (soccer, tennis...) but not as keen. The only one I DO is... swimming.
Baseball on Channel 4 was great, before that was on was bad US cartoons, then Baseball life was simple back then with four channels and we was all happy - well I was.
The game was OK, but too one sided, unlike the Vikings / Steelers game in September. Atmosphere wasn't as good. They are going to struggle to develop a UK following for the Jaguars when the team is awful..........
I seem to remember the 80's TV shows you made involved a 'Bills' hat, Hmmmmm
No... Giants and Jets... and Denver Broncos after I interviewed John Elway and became a big fan, eventually watching him win the Superbowl (I took Ray Cooper just after he'd been appointed Chairman of Virgin USA).
But you're right; a very boring game and Jaguars phoned in their effort.
