Filming in Court of Appeal... 11 Years, 8 Months ago
It will all end in tears. Public faith in the judiciary will finally end when they get to see how moronic those involved in the process are.

Why do they see it as necessary anyway?

"Preen Preen I'm on telly in my pretty wig; must give a harsher sentence to show I'm not a soft touch... don't want to offend that nice Mr Dacre... "Innocent? Of course not. I'm an Appeal Judge stabilising society and I increase your sentence - I may even double it if I look good to Pauly Boy watching in his nice Derry Street office.".. smirk... smirk... preen... preen... Hi there, I'm a really strict Judge especially when being smacked by hookers dressed as schoolgirls..."

it will end in tears of boredom.

They began filming Oz court cases about 4 years ago and gave up after one season.
People believe the law is like a Hollywood movie or Daily Mail report or like US court cases...but it's long and boring , even a sensational murder case can be dull.

You're quite right Hedda; watched the first session - appalling. The worst thing is the fake courtesy - the pretend over manners - as (I hope) marvellously satirised by me in Vile Pervert: The Musical and Barry Wrister QC.

I'm glad others thought the same as me. Utterly boring and full of simpering cross-dressers!

Anyone can watch a trail in a magistrates court done it 4 times. Kept me warm for couple of hours, it's funny when magistrates get owned.

The foreigners always say 'I don't understand English.'

Although I found it interesting, I couldn't help wondering about the enormous cost of these appeals, now presumably even more expensive with the cost of TV technicians and broadcasting kit.
All to decide whether a guilty man was 'over sentenced' for fake coins. Gobsmacked that he gets the Prime Minister's brother allocated by 'legal aid'
