TOPIC: At Last - good sense prevails
#104178
At Last - good sense prevails 11 Years, 8 Months ago
"The 64-year-old was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of historic sex offences as part of Operation Yewtree.

However, police and the BBC have refused to confirm the identity of the TV and radio star, in what campaigners have described as a 'chilling' attempt to suppress information."

Too late for some, but hopefully this will be the new policy of the Police

Hmmm. Enough clues though for people to make uneducated guesses.

Mmmm ....

BBC broadcaster Paul Gambaccini has been arrested on suspicion of historical sexual offences as part of Scotland Yard's Operation Yewtree.

Do you know Paul JK ? (I met him once at an event).

Do any of these people ask you for advice (solicitors etc) as you have had experience of what to expect ?

Yes I've known Paul for years. He does tend to put his foot in his mouth. Cannot resist the lure of the lens. If he or anybody else wants advice on how to combat false allegations, I'm happy to give it (but - as can be seen - I'm no expert).

Careful JK - otherwise we'll get headlines shouting "Jonathan King offers to help Paul Gambaccini" I know you have been extremely careful since leaving prison - installing cameras in you house to provide proof of innocence if necessary, but I am quite sure you would be an easy target for Yewtree if they can get false accusers to come up with new stories.
Keep Calm, and keep your head down!
