Emily always knew how to handle pussy and Mr Benn finally comes out the closet. Witch finder General is terrific film but hard to get a copy of, BBC always cut the film to shreds when they show it.

The guy who does this although I don't know him but have had a few conversations is absolutely lovely. He has a certain talent with this - why hasn't he been offered something?

...and as Art & Life blur once again, tonight sees "Panorama - After Savile" - in which ringmaster Meirion Jones will not mention his elderly Auntie Margaret yet again, the CPS do some more chest-beating and some ambulance chasers play the part of fictional 'real lawyers' and explain how false accusers have been "let down" (presumably by themselves for not mentioning anything in the twenty years JS spent as an ailing retired old man?)

The fresh 'twist'? Oh yes, they have decided that "not reporting" conjecture and rumour is now a crime tantamount to imaginary child abuse itself, and can only be punished by both asset-stripping the "villain" and then, presumably, torching them in witch-burning ceremonies on Wimbledon Common.

I'm presuming this is the real reason Paul Gambaccini was arrested last week - the inference being when he gleefully stepped in the media dog turds last year he also committed his smug self to be sacrificed by the very idiots he sought to patronise. What's the odds on his name being mentioned "in passing"?
