Two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. Also young Wiffen, my fine Director on The Pink Marble Egg.

I think their accusers are far less moral and probably lied.

I am quite a fan of Christine Hamilton. She was magnificent on "I'm a sleb"

Ever considered it?

Yes several of my friends have been on the show - Blackburn won the first one. I have been asked and turned it down... I'm not against something new and fresh but I've never been one to reheat old meals - that was why I turned down the request to be "Nasty" Nigel (and Sarcastic Simon) on reality music talent shows.

My favourite request was to be on Celebrity Wife Swap! Someone had clearly not been researching my recent career.

They came across very well on the Louis Theroux documentary. A couple of very British eccentrics and whats wrong with that?

Neil and Christine, of course, faced very serious rape false accusations from a woman represented and supported by the publicist Max Clifford. Fortunately and very unusually they were able to prove their innocence using phone records (perhaps Max would appreciate their advice on such matters). I seem to remember the false accuser was sent to prison herself as a result.

Although I would stress that a Guilty verdict and a prison sentence does not, sadly, guarantee guilt in many other cases these days.

It doesn't necessarily stop them being "nice" though. Sometimes bad people do good things and good people do bad things.

Loved the way Christine Hamilton flirted with Louis, maybe they might do a porno, Louis knows the industry well.

So honey - do you think that Brady, Nielsen and the Wests could really be nice people?

Are you seriously comparing a couple of eccentrics with mass murderers?

But Honey's point is spot on; I met some very nice people in prison who had committed dreadful crimes. Hate the crime, like the person.

No imp. Just somewhat intrigued by a few things, as a taxpayer...

- the Hamiltons lied and took bribes

- they are probably nice people

- the cost of the Court cases to the tax payer was significant

- they milked everything (media etc./every last bit)

- to fund an ongoing high lifestyle

- they still are on the 'talk circuit' and have written about their exploits.... 2/3 books, numerous articles,TV appearances et all.

Crime doesn't pay?

Apart from the horrific crimes, quite possibly. You also have to take into account mental illness which might mean that people are not in control of their actions.

In the Hamilton's case I think they are successful despite the crime, not because of it.

My dad has befriended some violent ex cons, they met just taken dogs out for a walk. I recently met one of them told me ghastly crimes he and his gang did, very horrific stuff. He said to my dad, my girlfriend and me your all part of my family.

I know exactly what JK means.
