An excellent/recent Scandinavian TV series about a crime

Which happens between two countries

Denmark and Sweden - on the bridge between the two

It has now been copied all over the world


A body is found (cut in half) exactly between the two jurisdictions

The different police/cultures/rivalry make the investigation tense

Infighting and point scoring abound - male and female lead investigators/the latter detective is autistic


Now its being copied by a rising number of other countries' TV channels where, just the border(s) are changed

Canada/USA - USA/Mexico - and now (new name) - The Tunnel. Between the UK and France

Joint ventures between neighbouring countries - unique and ground breaking TV



And brilliant....in the main....Sarah Lund would have been proud....

Yes Ben - we were raving about this (and the other foreign TV series) when it first aired on BBC4 (and, in DJones case, before).
