I'll do the ITK thing

Polls are a good indicator of thoughts of people when asked, but the just don't reflect the muscle memory or psychology of the actual act of ticking the box (xing it).......we still have 18 months, we have better economic news, the troops will be back from Afghan, the leader debates on TV haven't happened yet and I just foresee a fear of losing the upturn momentum so a default vote for party line with lib dem squeezed = conservative maj of 30.......is my prediction

This was the bit I expected some 'Knowable' soul to mention.

' Just 19% of the public say they trust Ed Miliband and Ed Balls to make the right decisions about the economy, seeing their net trust rating (-38) fall to its lowest rating since March 2012.'

Considering how unpopular some coalition policies appear to be, I am amazed that Labour are doing so badly.

That's just the point, honey!

Labour are committed to keeping most of the cuts ( there is no choice) so the intelligent know that it would make no difference !

'Considering the Coalition have some unpopular policies, its wondor Labour are dong so badly'?

I disagree on that. Unpopular in the Media, yes, unpopular amongst active and vocal political memebers, unpopular among the vocal opposition MP's and their current cause celeb or hobby horse projects..............

But consider this, a bit like Freakenomics, that maybe, just maybe there is a silent majority of the UK who actually agree with the current situation and would like it to continue........

I know, from a lot of died in the wool socialists and shouty people, this won't be taken serious, but there you go......fact is very much stranger than fiction people

I recall the polls once telling us that Neil Kinnock was going to win the 92 election by a landslide. I suppose they hadn't foreseen the disastrous Sheffield Rally...'We're allllright!'

According to Downing St polling, Mr Reason, 80% of the public support the cuts (and of that 80%, 80% think the benefits "cap" is far too high and should be substancially reduced - to fund tax cuts for those that DO work and contribute to society !)

Yep ... 21 points in the lead - and LOST (to John Major!)

That's like losing to a cardboard cut-out LOL !

Remember the SUN headline? "If Labour win tomorrow will that last person to leave Britain please turn out the lights" ?

This time there will also be a proviso .... and don't forget to pay the credit card bill before you leave !

I think the problem is that although nobody minds paying for those who are in need, it is very annoying when people turn down jobs and complain that they don't have enough money, yet you manage on far less and have to support them.

Quite correct, honey!

Labour to scrap benefits(*) for under 25's (because they know there is no choice - despite what they tell their dimwit supporters
www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/labour...s-for-under-25s.html

(*) unless in meaningful education (and that does not mean these Mickey Mouse "colleges" that you can get into as long as you can spell your name !

What if you leave home and 16, due to the facts you hates your parents what do you do then ? These these Mickey Mouse "colleges" are waste of public money, even though I passed my GCSE's went to careers advice when I finished school they mentioned a college, I went there and it was a office in a office block. Told me you have to do 6 months but get £45 a week just looking for work. Then put you on another course if haven't found after this. My last job the company went to liquidation been out of work since. I could get apprenticeship if I was young enough easily, but nearly approaching 30 little recruitment, in the area and surrounding areas it's hard. I'm surprised a lot of these courses are still open, and still the same staff working for them.

Tories said move to larger areas to find work, got news for you I done these several times all areas are the same.
