Almost 70 years ago I emerged (after such a long time, spent peering out, shaking my head and saying "Oh no, don't like the look of this") doctors grabbed my head with forceps, shouted "you're coming out, like it or not, you nasty little purple sprout" and brought me into London with an attractively lop sided grin.
