My friend and ex colleague (researcher on Entertainment USA) Colin Marchant put together several CD-Rs of some of the shows and appearances I did in the 80s such as Wogan interviews which I'd not only lost but had forgotten about. The three Prime Time BBC2 shows I did in 1985 from Montreux are fascinating. A long interview with David Frost (not yet a Lord), John Lloyd (Spitting Image - not yet QI) and others; some extraordinary footage from the festivals; some obscure tips (our big push was on an unknown track OPUS - Life Is Life).
Amazing to watch. How the channel was virtually King-TV in the mid 80s (as wryly commented by Terry).
