He should of gone long ago.

After the latest unemployment stats - down again ! - he's rightly looking a fool.

Even TV commentators are asking why Silliband hasn't sacked him (but concluding that he too would look even sillier if he did - wrong judgement etc)

The best thing for the Labour party is to be 'seen but not heard.'

What normal sentient self-respecting adult human being would regularly sit in full view of the cameras each week in the Commons and nod, over and over and over again, mouthing idiotic 'told you so' comments that you actually think look good? That's right. Ed Balls. It's enough to make Goethe throw up.

Still dubious of these stats, it's easy to manipulate just throw more on people on A4e courses, as your no longer on job centre books.

Labour did it with New Deal and FJF.

31 million now in work in the UK !
A record !

We should not measure "success" by the level of unemployment, but by the level of employment.

We have no control over how many people there are .... it's not our fault that Mrs Blob drops out Blobby after Blobby, all of whom grow up uneducated and unemployable.

With the squeeze the Blobbys will soon learn this (the rest will swoon over Ed Balls !)

People who have gained university degrees are told remove them on their CV's. There are jobs out there, too many people applying for the same jobs, not everyone can get to places, some people only have skills for certain jobs.

Easy said then done when people say 'get a job.'

Why not bring back the FJF ?

Yes of course there are more people in work, this is because there are MORE people. 66 million and counting. The population grew by 4 million between 1997 and 2010. And yes you can control the numbers of people. Firstly cut down on immigration from non-eu countries, stop child benefit for all but the first two children. Personally I would bring in a one child per family rule. One generation would struggle but future generations would find it easier. If the population grows that is exasperating it for future generations.

How many of these people in work are in part-time work when they are looking for full-time. How many are on zero hour contracts or back to work (fiddling the figures) schemes.

I know people who finished Avanta after 2 years being on the course, the Job Centre put you back on them for a further 2 years.

Tories love fiddling figures and statistics.

quite honestly, robbiex .... who cares ?

I made sure my children worked hard and benefitted from their opportunities.
If other people don't care what happens to their kids - that's their problem (and I'm not paying for their failings !)

Most looking for work care, zero hour contracts pointless and getting part time work when people need full time is making them poorer.

Mine didn't ITK, I had to work for my driving lessons etc, then work dried up couldn't afford any more lessons. So when you paid for their lessons etc you helped them get jobs, as it's easier to get a job when you got your own transport.

Most people only have Christmas Day off not MPs.
