The EU slow down ITK? 11 Years, 6 Months ago
www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2534919...-target-planned.html

'60mph 'green' speed limit on the motorway: Slower stretch on M1 to meet EU pollution target... and more are planned
Speed limit will be cut from 70mph to 60mph to meet EU pollution targets
Will be imposed on 32-mile stretch of M1 between junctions 28 and 35a
Drivers who break limit will face hefty fine and penalty points on licence
Scheme 'not ruled out' on other stretches of motorways, including M3
Motoring groups claim limit will have negative impact on businesses'

More looney lefty EU schemes mean ITK will have to go slower in his Rolls while paying royal visit to his local subjects!

On a more serious note.....

The area in question - where the hard shoulder is already used as an extra lane - is fairly close to several built-up areas (particularly near Meadowhall) and there has been a noticeable increase in deaths from pollution.

Definately worth an experiment, don't you think ?
(although personally I would like to see the M1 shut down around Junction 25 - who would want to go to Leeds anyway !??!!)

I had 5 curry induced years in Bradford, and the local slappers were normally available after a few 'bevvies' (hygiene & genital warts not guaranteed).

Never a night out if you don't get to finger a drunk woman in the pub or club.

I did make a comment apparently it's too rude to be posted, it was about fingers.
