I'm sorry, I know I said let's not comment on ongoing court trials but the Mail and other media outlets quote (very low down the story) the Travis victim as saying "I don't believe it was intended as a sexual assault. I believe he thought it was a prank. I believe it was intended as a stupid joke".

How on earth can the CPS have allowed this into court?

The entire case can be summed up in these words. A different time. I remember literally dozens of DJs waggling their naked penises in the faces of newscasters when they were reading the serious news, trying to make them laugh. I thought it was bloody puerile but they did it.

I suppose now we shall see Boris or David hauled up in court for mooning someone from a passing car in the 70s and getting 7 years for it.

More pictures to back up the comments below about media coverage of trials... more shots of DLT arriving in court (none, of course, of the "victims"). Likewise, during the trial, my defence team asked if photos of me aged in my 30s as I was at the time of the claims, could be shown to the jury because photos of my "victims" (usually - admittedly - "taken a few years before the offences" and thus looking like children) were provided. Our request was refused. Why? A sweet 8 year old looks far more different to a spotty, bristly 15 year old than a 30 year old to a 56 year old.
