Galloway Asks The HARD Questions! 11 Years, 6 Months ago
George Galloway has submitted a series of questions over the fatal shooting of unarmed Mark Duggan in August 2011. Duggan's killing led to widespread rioting, not just in his neighbourhood in North London, but in cities throughout the country. The Crown Prosecution service today announced that the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester is to be prosecuted for safety breaches after an unarmed man was shot dead in Cheshire.

Ordinary Written questions to: The Home Office for answer on Monday 20 Jan 2014 12:00 AM.

To ask the Home Secretary what steps have been taken to identify and discipline those Metropolitan Police officers and members of the Independent Police Complaints Commission who claimed immediately after his death that Mark Duggan had exchanged gunfire with officers.

To ask the Home Secretary who ordered the vehicle in which Mark Duggan had been travelling to be removed from the crime scene without forensic examination.

To ask the Home Secretary if she will order an inquiry into the police handling of the fatal shooting of Mark Duggan.

To ask the Home Secretary if she will ensure that in any future cases where police officers are involved in the shooting of civilians, police officers involved are immediately interviewed separately and not allowed to get together to compare notes and produce an account of events agreed amongst themselves.
