Lord Rennard and Nick Clegg... 11 Years, 5 Months ago
"Apologise for things you haven't done". Where have I heard that before? It has become the overwhelming attitude - express regret. And, as we all know, it doesn't change anything. DON'T plead guilty.
And why is this happening. You know. I know. We all know.
Because it's a good story... like "Dead Man Rapes Millions"...

Am I being a bit thick here? Surely the answer is "I apologise sincerely and absolutely if I inadvertently and accidentally offended anyone by saying or doing anything they misinterpreted".

Helena Kennedy's 'expert' advice: there's rarely proof for these accusations because they happen in private, but the women are sincere, so Rennard should apologise. Even more bizarrely, she added that apologising 'is not about culpability'. In that case we may as well take it in turns. Or she could do it for him.
