Bill Roache's prosecutor asks the Jury "Who, of all the witnesses, is most used to rehearsing what he has to say and sticking to his script?"

Yes I wouldn't have thought that this line would get much favour from a Judge, let alone a Jury - but we shall have to see. The defence should say "if the prosecution is suggesting all the players in this drama are either professional or amateur actors, we shall leave the implication for you to consider".
