Harry And The Hula-hoops 11 Years, 5 Months ago
Jonathan are you able to shed some light on the song "Harry And The Hula-hoops".

I only ever heard this song played once on Radio 1 on a Saturday morning in the early 70s and it stuck with me for life and
to my surprise and delight I found it on YouTube.

Please can you give some background into the song and record, I found the lyrics and melody to be both uplifting and melancholy.

It's a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine - it's on the UK Records CD and I always loved it and would love to get in touch with Pat Codd if he's around. Andrew is also a fan I believe.

Yes though Amazon sold out in days - we're supplying them with more. You can download it from them or iTunes.

Gosh Jonathan, I found the UK Records 80 greatest hits !!

And so many I remember hearing in the days of my youth on Radio Northsea International,
do you remember this station Jonathan? My brother and I used to listen to it every night..

I found this site that shows all the releases of UK Records and also has pictures of the 7" singles labels
where you can see the credits.

Jonathan you wrote so many songs for the B-sides as well as producing so many singles and singing on so many too ..

You must have been a workaholic during the 70s and 80s

This is the site
UK Records
