More hysteria over Vatican and abuse 11 Years, 5 Months ago
I suspect soon they will be spending millions on examining and condemning those who stopped women voting years ago. And we're just short of bringing back the death penalty for distant relatives of the importers of slaves. Let's spend a few million more tracking down old Nazis. Hey, it's one way to use our cash. Why waste it on feeding the starving or saving lives in hospitals. And, of course, it's a great story.

This is a TRUE story:
I visited Rome in 1982, and toured the City late at night to avoid crowds.
I got the the Vatican Square around 2.00am - empty, peaceful, beautiful and yes - spiritual.
Standing next to the Egyptian obelisk in the centre of the square, I heard the 'clip clop' of shoes, and a priest arrived carrying an umbrella, wearing the full cassock.
We past pleasantries, and then I noticed he had lifted his cassock to show a remarkable hardon.
I will not go into what happened, but afterwards I tried to fathom the circumstances - was this the Devil testing me, was I part of a show put on for the Pope's amusement (His apartment was in plain view), was this an attempt by the Catholic Church to recruit me - No! I now realise it was abuse! Horror and shock. Problem was he was quite a bit younger than ne - so can't report it as I am not sure who the abuser was!
