Channel 4 know how disappointed you were that Benefits Street was not on last week, so to make up for it there is a special double bill tonight !

At 8pm a programme about the Under Occupancy Rate (all those people who complain that they cannot afford to heat their homes are STILL complaining when we suggest they downsize - to something more suitable - and free-up larger homes for someone who actually needs them!)

(There will be a special crap-o-meter in the corner of the screen ... it will click-up everytime someone uses a mobile phone, swears, or everytime we see a large flat screen TV !)

Then, at 9pm, the final (ahh !) episode of Benefits Street itself !

Don't be disheartened though, hedda - you will see LOTS more of the dolers during the Wythenshaw bye-election (the largest council dumpheap in Europe !)
I wonder who they will vote for LOL ???!!!!

yes the NSW Minister who proposed the same policy (presumably after reading the Times) has already hit a snag : there are not nearly enough small flats for all the people who now want to "down size".

I expect the problem will be far worse in the UK.

And perhaps the same will happen in the UK that is now happening in NSW : lawyers are now preparing class actions against that Minister's department for failing to keep up repairs, as per leases. I guarantee the same will happen in the UK.

so another gormless policy by a vacuous politician will now cost millions of $$ instead, far in excess that a 'bedroom tax' will raise.

### note , all the other Aust states, most which are Tory run have declined to charge a "bedroom tax"

your concern for them is duly noted but might be more convincing if you aknowledged how that situation arose.
