TOPIC: RIP Shirley Temple
#110876
RIP Shirley Temple 11 Years, 5 Months ago
Great star of the 30s and 40s - went on to be a top Ambassador - great early records; interesting that she went for but lost the Judy Garland role in Wizard of Oz. Nice to see that child stars can still go on to have successful adult lives and careers.

Oh no! I feel quite sad that she has died. I wonder if they will show her old films now? I dont think they have shown them for years, presumably because she runs off with strange men and shows her pants when she tap dances.

Oh no, I thought they were lovely. With the exception of "Heidi" which was a horrible monstrosity that ruined the book.

Aren't the films in public domain ?

If they are they won't be shown on Freeview, maybe a obscure FTA channel on Sky, hidden the EPG.
