Heading down to Dave Lee Travis trial - anticipate a verdict this afternoon #OpYewtree

Obviously anticipating a Guilty verdict - let's hope he's wrong!

He is almost beyond parody. But not quite.

Typical, he does not go to listen to the evidence from both side but I am sure if DLT is found not G he will start harping on about the victims !!

He really is like Thrush.

Fuck the evidence, who needs to hear both sides of the story.

Why is he at the trial? Whats it got to do with him? What is he for?

Sugar, he went ONLY fir the verdict and only to see a GUILTY come back, he is not interested in the evidence as we have seen from his reaction in the Roche case..
He is on a Crusade ! Remember his statement in the Savile progamme. "he only did his tv show to get nearer children" I suspect you could say the same about at least two other candidates, wgat a better cover to have to view "child abuse images" than become a criminologist in the subject. i name no names... yet.

I wonder what safeguards they have for those who have to watch child pornography or graphic photos? Are they allowed free access or is it monitored?

It is supposed to only be accessed under controlled conditions. I know of at least one officer from the Met Child protection (paedo unit) as they prefer to call themself ( better impact) who for attending a trial at Sothwark Crown took his laptop containing indecent images of a 16yr old home with him that were to be adduced in court the next morning.
No names, no pack drill !

I bet my last pair of Y fronts that plenty of the officers on that squad and others have had to Knock one out aftet viewing and also removing a few for future referance.

I suppose if a person wants access to child pornography, then working in child protection is the perfect cover.
Not saying it's true in this case, but if a paedo gets a job like that, they will be like a kid in a sweet shop!
