TOPIC: Dog eats baby
#110958
In The Know (as always)

Dog eats baby 11 Years, 5 Months ago
I was going to post about this yesterday when details first emerged.
Despite there being very few details - we ALL knew, didn't we? - that it was (yet again) "that sort".

Details are now slowly emerging ... and we were NOT wrong !

The dog (called "Killer" !) was a banned type. The baby (Ava-Jayne - who sort of name is that????) was alone with the dog. The mother "Chloe" - stop sniggering ! This is serious ! - was downstairs with her "partner" (the man who is shagging her this week). The father, nowhere to be seen.

The area looks pretty good (perhaps they have only just moved in?) - UNTIL you see the back garden !

All very depressing ...
All very predictable ....
All very preventable.

No dog should ever be left with a child alone, socialisation is key when dog is puppy.

Why don't parents teach their kids not pull on dogs ears and tail, hugging a dog is a no no as it could be sign you want to fight it ? I just stick to staffies as I know them, but only then I only get one that's been socialised. I want to know where they got a banned dog from, neighbours warned them the dangers but why didn't just call the authorities ?

In these cases it is usually an ill kept dog used for guarding or breeding who isn't part of the family.
It seems it was common knowledge that this man was breeding pitbulls so why wasn't it reported and dealt with?

People who need a status for getting a banned dog or big dog need mauling themselves.

Is it me or is there a stereotypical pattern with all these families?

Weird dog .... child has stupid name .... (parents are dolers?)

A neighbour of mine has one of them dogs the dog is soppy friendly giant. Eliza-Mae is not a stupid name heard a lot worst from celebrities kids, still no proof parents are on the dole.

Funnily enough, I was at an ATM in Sloane Square this morning and the preceding customer had one of those beautiful Alaskan dogs. I immediately fell to my knees and cuddled and stroked it. Gorgeous light eyes - each a different colour. I asked it if it knew its eyes were different coloured. It just licked me. The owner said it was very gentle (I could tell). When I got home I saw this report on TV. Hope the dog survives; very rarely the dog's fault.

I think "Eliza" is lovely and although I would prefer "Mae" to be be "May" It is hardly weird.
The street looks ordinary too.
Huskies have been overbred by backyard breeders though and are often not all they should be.

Owners are responsible for dogs behaviour unless it's medical, I got a staffy his a softie and scatty with it, he was bought up as family dog around 5 kids, yes the old owners dolers.

ITK now thinks all dolers with dogs are bad.

Agreed - this sort can't look after their dogs OR their children.

No - just stereotypical. I bet they all have SupaDry jackets and bin liner trousers too. Plus the fat girlfriend (with buggy) !
