It gets more blatant every time. How can anyone not see what is happening? And surely they already have the details of everyone who was fostered?

You can "almost" imagine the interview, can't you, honey?

Detective - Did anything happen to you?

Kid 1 - I was shouted at if naughty.

Detective - Shouted at? That's verbal abuse ! Were you ever hit?

Kid 1 - Sometimes

Detective - Physical abuse too. Where? On your bare skin? Did anyone else "touch" you?

Kid 1 - Sometimes I was lead to bed if I had been naughty.

Detective - Did they wait for you to get undressed?

Kid 1 - yes

Detective - Ahh ! I'll be round to take a statement. IF you could remember being "touched" it may help with the Compo. Have a think before we get there.
