that NY plane crash 17 Years, 6 Months ago

I'm sitting here watching TV and a newsflash comes on so I decide to channel surf.according to which station you watch it was a plane,it could be a plane or a small helicopter,it could be terrorist,we have ruled out terrorism,its too soon to rule out terrorism.no wonder they don't know whats going on,no different from UK news.I see at the same time Sky news is saying its a plane but its still too soon.

The problem with 24-hour news is that breaking news is by definition a jumble of eye witness reports, pure speculation and instant expert "analysis". I saw some of this on CNN. It struck that I was watching a team of about 100 people with a helicopter covering what was basically a traffic accident, but being beamed around the world live.
