Deputy PM exposes Rent-A-Gob ! 11 Years, 4 Months ago

Nick Clegg is to accuse UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage and his colleagues in the European Parliament of failing to "stand up for Britain".

In a speech on the EU's role later, Mr Clegg will say Mr Farage "rarely" turns up to vote in Brussels and should "get down to work".

UKIP said it alone had prevented the UK from "sleepwalking" into giving away more sovereignty.

UKIP MEPs refuse to roll up their sleeves and get down to work.
Nigel Farage hasn't tabled a single amendment to EU legislation since July 2009

Maybe Clegg was busy in his constituency - 160 miles away

Maybe he was busy being Deputy Prime Minister

Or perhaps he was busy running his party (he does have one, ya know - a real party, with real MPs !)

The point is ... the man who is going to "save" us from Europe has already been a Euro MP for 5 years - and has done absolutely NOTHING !
