Manston Airport could close for good in a matter of days, Boris Johnson wants to open another airport in Sheppey, where is the logic in that ?

of all my travel experiences...arriving at and leaving Heathrow is the most depressing.

amazing that it actually works with few dramas.

It baffles me........we have certain politicians talking about investing in infrastructure projects to boost the UK economy (mainly the last policy of Ed Balls cos there is nothing left for him.... and yet we can't agree on garden cities, HS2 or expansion of Heathrow, Nuclear Power, Wind Farms et al without years of wrangling...............

Its politics that get in the way, not the will of the people....small pressure groups exhert an inversely proportional amount of pressure compared to their size.....imo

I have no problem with nuclear power. Kent is known for it's country side ( Garden of England .) Boris wants a new airport when our current one is going bust, building new homes when there thousands that just need renovating, wind farms Thanet's coast is littered, countryside is now spoilt, HS2 we don't need it not many here use HS1.
