More than 20 children's homes and schools across England are to be investigated in connection with claims that Jimmy Savile abused children there.

Have these people only just realised that they were "abused" ????

but note- Duncroft is not one of them. Why?

and another law firm asking for clients list dozens of places where abuse may have happened but there is a glaring omission..Duncroft again.

Anna Raccoon and the other former residents should be demanding Duncroft be investigated.

Some of it could be because they seem to have redefined the definition of what 'abuse' is these days - some even seen to class paying a 17 year old a compliment about how she looks in her jeans as 'abuse'these days - and i'm not joking - I know a man that was pulled up for that, questioned by the police - though nothing came of it in the end thankfully...

It is simply ridiculous to think that all these people said nothing at the time, that celebrities were allowed to run amok unsupervised, and that the staff failed to protect the children in their care when they were told about abuse.

I think Anon's point is accurate; a tickle or a joke which would then have been shrugged off or enjoyed have been repainted as abuse. Not only a dangerous inflation but one that will cost us, the tax payer, a fortune in totally wasted and pointless expense and effort from public servants whose time would be far better spent elsewhere.
