Oh Waxie Maxie. Bitten on the bottom? 11 Years, 3 Months ago
A quote from the Tweet of the Sky News reporter's coverage of the Waxie Maxie trial…

Max Clifford says there are lots of people he would have liked to have called to give evidence in his defence but they have since died.

How strange. One of the many things I said at my trial 13 years ago when Max's clients made false allegations (ordered abandoned by the Judge) against me.

I wonder whether Max also said that, to be honest, many abused victims are sadly dead too. Sometimes I wonder about the abilities of celebrated public relations people.

after a lifetime I've come to believe most "public relations experts' are total tossers- except for some wonderful and notable exceptions.

One is the late Percy Savage, Australian born who went to Europe in 1947 and invented the Red Carpet by inviting non-film celebrities to movie premiers.

Eau Sauvage was named after him by Yves St Laurent.

An absolute gent of a man who treated everyone from the lowliest waiter / grunt to the most famous celeb of the day with equal importance.

This trial is not going well for Maxie. He is the complete opposite to some wonderful agents & PRs I have known.

Judge Dredge

Will the doddery old man with a hearing aid image help him? I read that one of the jurors couldn't stop laughing on one occasion, so they had to stop the trial for the day. The same happened at Ken Dodd's trial and we all know that he got off.
