Ukip launches racist poster campaign ..... 11 Years, 3 Months ago
Aimed at the lowest intelligence (the ones who always want to blame someone else) -

Years ago they would have "blamed" the Irish, or the Jews, maybe the West Indians or the Asians .... always someone else to blame !

Hardly racist just telling the truth, many jobs manual jobs are done by Eastern Europeans who paid below the min wage, just ask the farmers in Faversham they admit they employ Polish workers as they are on £2.50 per hour 12 hours a day. Friend of my ex was a farmhand on one of the farms, then he was sacked as the farmer wanted cheaper labour.

Tories wanted them Europeans to go home remember that ITK ?

But the van was aimed at ILLEGAL immigrants not Europeans with the right to work here.

Why dont they have to have minimum wage? Why are they exempt?

The European farmhands are willing to work much less than British, my ex girlfriend mate tried to get working on the farm with him, few months before he was laid off, the farmer said 'I can't afford 2 British workers the minimum wage, when these lot are £2.50 an hour'.

UKIP only want deport illegal immigrants and have controlled immigration like Australia, media and likes of ITK ignore that and change the wording.

The only way that would work is if we withdrew from the EU - then we dump our best customer and will be far worse off (and why hasn't Farage done anything about it in the many years he has already been a Euro MP?)

Ukip - completely wasted vote - they CANNOT achieve what they claim they want.

EU rule the UK, having Euro MP is pointless when Brussels have the final say, what about the Trojan Horse fiasco ? Gove is silent about it, Non Muslim kids are being forced to teach themselves. There are many many illegal immigrants in the UK, who are working here illegally.

We can do trading in Europe without being the EU. Norway the 5th important export trader of the world, they are not in the EU.

ALL citizens of the EU have a right to work here (just as we have the right to work in Europe.

How many of them are paying income tax ? Lot of them work cash in hand, which is against the law.

This is true and has been for many years. Most farm jobs or fruit picking jobs etc are taken up by East Europeans and British people do apply for those jobs but often don't get a look in - most farmers are swamped with 1000's of applications for the fruit season but they only need a few 100 and they prefer to employ East Europeans, which is entirely up to them, but if the government are (and I heard from someone they were in the past) giving farmers financial incentives to employ foreigners over British people, then I think that's very unfair...

Is it true that the government used to pay farmers to employ people from the Czech republic etc or I am wrong?

I think the solution is (and of course farmers will hate it - someones always going to hate it). Is to make it compulsory to give all workers (who are here legally) the minimum wage, and if necessary, instead of the government giving them financial incentives to employ East Europeans, change that to give them financial incentives to employ a variety of applicants and give everyone an equal chance (obviously they can't employ everyone who asks, but am equal change), it's better to do that than have those un employed British people on the dole all the time you'd think/hope...

Not recist by the definition of the term 'racist'.

It isn't racist full stop, but like 'bedroom tax', the media will use words as 'fact' to suit their stance on the matter...................

There is no bedroom tax.......there is no racist statement in the UKIP ad

It seems 'racist' is used as a catch all dissaproving term for anything the media disagree with that is related to immigration

At the end of the day (me personally) I have absolutely nothing against Polish people or people from the Czech Republic personally and don't have a problem with them having a right to work in the U.K as we have a right to over there but, but at the end of the day the British governments first responsibility should be to the British people, just as the Czech government is to Czech people, a line has to be drawn somewhere and while I don't think it would be at all fair for farmers to be paid to give them an incentive to employ British people over anyone else it seems even worse for them to be paid to employ foreigners over British people - their main duty is supposed to be to Britain, not Poland or the Czech Republic at the end of the day...

How soon before people complain about rising prices (to fund the wage increases)?

it's better to do that than have those un employed British people on the dole all the time you'd think/hope...

You post - like so many others - starts with a number of false assumptions.
You ASSUME that these people want a job !

There is no job shortage - there never was.
There are more people - in every category - in employment now than at anytime in the past.

Even during so-called "boom" years, there were always 1,000,000+ "unemployed" (or should that be unemployable?) Why were they not getting jobs then?

Tell me ... how can just sitting at home watching TV and playing video games ever make someone more attractive to an employer?

These people - who are largely unemployable due to their own (in)actions - need to be forced to do something.

When we get to the point where IF they don't work for six hours a day they don't eat tonight, they will learn something (and so will their offspring).

Well should all legal workers in the U.K not be entitled to the same minimum wage for their ability whether their originally from Poland, the Czech Republic or the U.K really?

IF, and I don't know if they still are, so feel free to correct me, but I think it used to be the case that farmers where paid as an incentive to employ people from the Czech Republic over British people, then what would the difference be if they were instead paid to employ a variety of people from all walks of life (provided they are willing and capable to do the work properly of course)?

Well why not force them (those who are actually willing to do it and would do it properly - and there are plenty who have applied, but those jobs appear to be ear marked for East Europeans at the moment) to do farm work/fruit picking instead of making so much much easier for Eastern Europeans to get those jobs for no other reason than for legal reasons at the moment it works out cheaper for the employer.

Both me and my sister have applied for fruit picking numerous times and been unsuccessful because they get 1000's of applicants and they (at least used to) find it much cheaper to employ Eastern Europeans cos their not required to pay them the minimum wage whether that's because the goverment are allowing them to by making up the difference and the workers still get the same pay as a British person would in the end or not...

Depends where in country you are, also there are thousand applying for the same jobs.

These people - who are largely unemployable due to their own (in)actions - need to be forced to do something.

So if someone is redundant that is their fault then ITK ?

Yes.

Tories apprentice scheme is well over due, many of dolers are now over cutoff age, maybe bring back FJF if Tories are always wanking public money on their luxury lifestyles, they can afford employers to take staff on.

Why don't you ask Nigel Farage if you can have his secretary's job (currently being done - AT TAXPAYERS EXPENSE - by a GERMAN) ?

Like I've said before ... he tells the ignorant what they want to hear and they are too dumb to realise it !

the UK is simply having it's Pauline Hanson moment and I notice not only are the policies the same but other aspects : Hanson made a small fortune from elections before she faded away.

UKIP will also soar close to the Sun, crash and burn. What they achieve at the next election will be interesting but just as Hanson picked up dozens of seats both state and federally, she was gone within 3/4 years.

The Big Mystery : why is the Daily Mail so intent on promoting them and destroying as many Tories as possible?

As all the previous ones did - talking of which, the BNP turned up in Sheffield yesterday (at the Ukip launch) to heckle Farage !

Farage has been a Euro MP for 3 terms now - and achieved nothing !

How many foreigners do you think they will "evict" when they win a few Council elections and get put in charge of dustbins ????

It is very possible that there are lots of people on the dole who are desperate to avoid work because they will be worse off.
We cant all be intelligent and qualified, and the sort of jobs that these people used to do dont seem to be there any more.
What is the point in spending money to keep people on the dole when they could be encouraged (forced) to do the jobs that attract other Europeans?
How do people from other cultures manage on so much less money?
