David Threlfall 11 Years, 3 Months ago
I've been a fan since seeing him as Smike in the RSC Nicholas Nickleby years ago. He was very good as Tommy Trinder but I lost interest 30 minutes in.

I wasn't going to watch - 2 hours seemed overly long - but found it quite interesting.

He treated Pauline McLynn appallingly, the little shit. And he's a very mannered actor, which impresses the gullible. Give him an Olivier award.

Interestingly the actor who played Eric Morecambe in this was very, very good.
