In Oz with his wire wool hair..telling us how lucky we are (true) with a batsh*t crazy Tory government (lest ITK gets too exited they haven't done anything yet after 6 months) and an economy gifted by 6 years of a Labor government that is the envy of the world..AAA credit ratings and the ultra-conservative Forbes Magazine saying the Rudd/Gillard governments (both evil socialists) were the best in the Western world.
Andrew Neil, the publisher of The Spectator discusses his impressions of the Australian government as well as the Scottish referendum on independence from Great Britain.

... and was going down the pan VERY fast - which is why the government was ditched !
Is hedda back from being a groupie for Prince George ?
I'm sure I saw you on the news footage (in the background). As soon as I saw the image I said to Mrs ITK - that's hedda !
Ah, Andrew Neil - met him at the launch of Sky (when he was, temporarily MD). Always seems to have a job - but never seems to keep them !

of course your analysis is entirely wrong ITK.
Oz has been transformed by mainly Labor (evil socialists) governments since the 80s hence my decision to live here. Everything boomed under them- films, teh arts, infrastructure, trade and manufacturing.
Everything went backwards and stagnated for 10 years under a Howard Tory government- since transformed again by Rudd ( evil socialist)from 2007.
Debt under Labor has always been around 24% of GDP- the envy of the world, the UK & USA.
It simple terms for Small town Tories- it's like having a sensible mortgage you can service and pay and increase wealth and infrastructure at the same time.
Just like those who end up owning 50 supermarkets but under Small town Tories and their hopeless niggledy book-keeping, nothing ever happens, nothing progresses- they stay serving their customers at the corner shoppe while we all die of boredom and poverty..

one of the problems of people never "having it so good" is that they don't realise it.
they do now of course as the Abbott government has plummeted in the polls 2 weeks after being elected and remain there.
It only takes 200,000 to change a government in Oz. Easy to do with plenty of Bogans here ( Chavs).too.
Just use concerted campaign by Murdoch's media claiming Julia Gillard had lied about a Carbon Tax (she didn't) every day, day after day... yet Tony Abbott has since election broken over 20 election promises with nary a mention in the Murdoch media.
I'm not responsible for morons..they too get to vote.
