I have had amazing discussions with close friends who parrot a media claim that persisted day after day in Australia from 2010 claiming
"Julia Gillard lied and said she would not introduce a Carbon tax"
this claim was repeated ad infinitum especially by News Ltd, picked up and repeated by TV networks , the ABC and 'left' leaning newspapers day after day up until a GE in Sept 2013. That lie was os successful it saw Gillard booted.
Yet if I point out that-
she did no such thing and here is the proof printed in of all newspapers, News Ltd's
