There is a God
Forget Saville, Clifford, Hall et al...
Adams is the vicious murderer of so many
But cowards don't always commit the act themselves
Great news

But he is a friend of the queen so it really doesnt matter how many women he put a bullet in.
Same with Mcguiness who killed more folk than Peter Sutcliffe hes another mass murderer.
But hey..... its all water under the bridge these days.

Many would disagree.
Adams is still in politics in the Republic of Ireland - and the people there will respond.
So far, the media and other comment on him is not very positive.

Neither do we know if Adams was ever a member of the IRA - he has always denied it! But Adams' activities/involvement have been a very open secret in Ireland for years.
At the very least, this arrest is the first step towards the disclosure of a lot of facts/information - which the political and legal systems (in NI and the RoI) were unable to make known.
The Irish media - and message boards - are awash, this morning, with the relief that we are likely to learn what really happened to Mrs McConville, and so many others.
Brought about by the recent judgement of a US court.

the facts recounted, by old pals - in the USA... 11 Years, 2 Months ago

This Boston Herald article tells the story:-
www.bostonherald.com/news_opinion/local_...ted_in_72_IRA_murder
For a Boston College project, IRA veterans (Adams' ex-collegues) gave interviews detailing their involvement - and that of Adams - in a number of murders, including Jean McConville's.
Boston College gave an assurance the the interviews would not be released until the deaths of the interviewees. But, at the behest of Belfast police, the US Court issued an order to remand a portion of the archives last year.
South Boston is an IRA hotbed - and as Adams' old mates boasted about their missions of death, they were unknowingly/unwittingly shopping their old buddy.
An ironic twist at the end of a long career in terrorism - for Adams.

The "evidence" is NOT worth anything !
When people say things - which is not to be revealed until after their death - it could be malicious, rumour, gossip, slander or just plain LIES !
Evidence MUST be tested in Court - some of these people are already dead, and the others will be treated as "hostile witnesses" (ie people not willing to give evidence).
....... beyond a reasonable doubt? - or considerable doubt ??!

Perhaps the DPP should decide that, first?
Not the OAP...

Mr McGuinness, Northern Ireland's Deputy First Minister, told a press conference at Stormont that the arrest of his party leader and "friend" was politically motivated.
He claimed that "senior" and "reforming" figures within the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) had told Sinn Féin that "there was still a dark side within policing here in the north of Ireland".
"I think we have seen that dark side flex its muscles in the course of the last couple of days," he added.

Have we all forgotten ?
The last police service in Northern Ireland (RUC) was SO CORRUPT the entire thing had to be disbanded !

The sad facts, an vile family 11 Years, 2 Months ago

Now, it comes to light
Adams' brother is in jail for numerous rapes of his daughter
Denied, as usual and for years, by Gerry
Most rational people in RoI/NI think they should be in the same cell
....and do what they desire...

The Gerry and Martin Show - over 11 Years, 2 Months ago

Whatever happens to Adams, this whole affair is bad news for Sinn Fein who were doing well in Irish politics as a mainstream left wing/working class party - seen as an alternative to the others.
Their popularity was built on the back of the recession in Ireland which severely damaged the two main parties (Fianna Fail and Fianna Gael).
Adams and McGuiness are relics of Sinn Fein/IRA's violent past and this case has reminded the Irish electorate of their dark past as terrorists - kiliing people indiscriminately. In Omagh, Enniskillen, Birmingham, Guildford etc. etc.
Victims were men, women and children - catholic and protestant - it didn't matter.
Both now are past pension age and seen as a liabilities by the new SF - with far too much baggage, and out of touch. For instance, they totally misread the enormous popularity of the Queen on her visit to Ireland.
Consequently, McGuiness had no option to attend the banquet at Windsor Castle recently - on the visit of the President of Ireland, and to shake hands with the Queen and her family and ministers. Totally unthinkable, not long ago.
Boston College will soon have done Ireland a great favour (no matter what the outcome of the McConville case is) - it will have helped to rid, from Irish politics, these two dynasaurs.
