I was reading somewhere that it is being changed so it is only for extreme cases such as stalking, or domestic violence. I dont know why anyone would want to be on it since the internet happened.

I don't actually see how they can make it harder to get on the anonymous register than it is already, because you have to have court documentation like a restraining order as it is.
"Ordinary" reasons like working with disturbed people and not wanting them to know where you live is no reason at all apparently.
