I'm always at loggerheads with tech writers who prostrate themselves at the feet of this vile search engine who are destroying publishing world-wide with job losses now in the 100,000s...all expected as technology changes ...but who also have based themselves in obscure tax havens and are basically the greatest bludgers (scroungers) of the corporate world.

Even Rupert Murdoch agrees : Google hoover up information including snippets of published works (ie : steal and plaigarise the content) and then sell advertising space with their links- to the tune of £billions in the UK alone but "written up" in Ireland or Singapore.

Even worse the Mainstrean media never realises when they are being had as in this Press Release received from Google 2 days ago and publioshed verbatim by the Mail and probably others.
