My sister has just resigned from one of the schools involved in the Small Heath area.
If anybody wants a reason why we should restrict immigration this is the perfect example.
People bring their cultures with them, and all three of the traditional main parties have accused ordinary citizens of being racist if they complain when white people are forced out of jobs in their own country,as a result of immigrants moving in.
FYI my sister and many of her white colleges have been forced out, their lives made hell, just for being white and christian...while all the time these idiots in government try to score political gains as a result.
If you can't now understand why UKIP are doing so well then....

Yes Patt; let them all in, then educate, teach, train, help them assimilate and become contributors. Just as we should be doing the same if we choose to live in other countries. My friend Anna Raccoon's medical experiences in France are fascinating; superb treatment, all free from the French for one reason - she was ill. The fact that she and her husband are British played no part at all in the decision to treat them.
That is the attitude we should all be taking.
We are all a part of the Human Race. That's what is important.
You have to be paying into the French system to get anything out...that's why the treatment is so good.Same in many other countries in the EU,only fools like the UK give it away for free.
Oh and JK,who is going to pay for the many millions who would come here? Who is going to pay for the many dependants who will come here with them? They will not work, but will expect welfare, education, health care etc.
We can't even afford good quality for our own people,so where will the billions come to care for the new commers?;..And where will they live?
The Brits who move abroad are mainly people of money/skills or both, they benefit where they go.Other countries tend to choose who they let in,and prosper as a result.A look at the rich Arab countries will simply prove my point.

Humans are too far gone for this to work - have you noticed how young people now are in their own little selfish family bubbles? My experience of the human race is that, yes a few will be grateful, accept the help, get trained and become valued members of society. The majority will just take the bits that don't need effort and throw the rest back in your face.

"You have to be paying into the French system to get anything out...that's why the treatment is so good."
Sorry to disappoint you Pattaya - but as a pensioner, I pay nothing into the French health care system - as I would pay nothing in England. My treatment is 100% free - and a genuine 100%, which includes all prescriptions, taxis to and fro my hospital appointments, accommodation (albeit a 'z-bed'!) for my husband when I am an in-patient, private room and private bathroom, and home nursing 365 days of the year when I am not....
Were I of working age still, and when I was, my contribution was no different to NI insurance charges in the UK.
Were I still of working age, my care would still have been 100% free since my illness was life threatening. If of working age you only call on your health insurance for things like having a tattoo removed, IVF treatment, non-essential treatment, and then only for between 40% and 60% of the cost.
There is a special scheme for those of working age who are unemployed that gives them an effective insurance against their part-contribution for non-essential treatment free of charge.
It is one of the great myths of the NHS 'that only the UK gives medical care free of charge'.
What was your last dentist bill in the UK? Mine was O here.....

Penniless (non EU) immigrants don't get it free, but they do here.
The EHIC does indeed do one off medical care, and has indeed saved the lives of a few friends of mine...but it won't do repeat stuff.
I know plenty of Brits in Spain struggling with medical costs, and as for other benefits they are far more geared to shorter term help than long term.

The EHIC does only do emergency care - but if you are resident in France you can transfer your UK rights to France. Then you have continuing care - as I have done for three years.
Sadly, many expats do not feel they can 'tangle' with the French system - probably the Spanish system too, for all I know - and they do rely on the EHIC, same as they drive round in British registered cars, and buy their English food from English shops.
To transfer your rights correctly you need to register to pay French tax - and if you earn more than 18,000 odd euros, then you will pay tax - though that is a higher threshold than English tax, so I never quite understand the reluctance.
All those within the French borders - illegal immigrants included, will receive emergency care for life threatening illnesses - the French don't like their pavements lined with dead and dying 'foreigners, believe it or not.
Of course, if you are below pension age and decline to pay contributions, or pay for health insurance, then you will only get emergency care.

Unlike the UK,which is seen as a soft touch.Could this be why many third world criminals have loitered around the channel ports looking to break the law,and sneak into the UK?...and as we know large communities of eastern european Roma are milking the UK system of benefits, even after Mr Cameron promised to stop them?
Anyway on a happier note may I say how much I've enjoyed reading your blog. A pleasure to see you here.
