disgraceful scenes in Brazil 11 Years, 1 Month ago
police fire stun grenades, tear gas and also use pepper spray in a protestor's eye !

2 CNN jounalists are hurt.

More than a million demonstrated against the event last year, claiming it was a waste of money to a corrupt organisation when people are living in suallor.

Airport staff at Rio de Janeiro's Galeao airport voted to stage a 24-hour strike in a row over pay.Baggage handlers and check-in staff will join colleagues at the city's Santos Dumont airport - an important hub for flights to Sao Paulo, where England play Uruguay next week - in downing tools.

Don't be fooled by the hype - millions DONT want it !

Interesting ? - These events are main news on Sky website but don;t even get a mention on the BBC frontpage ... I wonder why? Embarrassed at (our) money being wasted ?

I don't fall for the hype, I just don't get the buzz of the World Cup, Sepp is corrupt.
