for use of my original soundtrack to the Rocky Horror Show in the (rumoured sensational) film The Last Impresario - about Michael White; my co producer on the stage show. I put in £20K of the total 100K in return for 20% of all profits - across the board, all productions, films, soundtracks etc.
When it became a smash, White cunningly transferred the rights to another company and bankrupted the one with whom I had the contract. Perfectly legal if not entirely moral.
So I've made very little from my investment. I wonder if the film mentions this? Still, my production has done very nicely, being the first (and far and away the best).
And I'm told the movie (opening in Australia this week) is fantastic.
